Happy May Day, Love __________

Parker made a May Day craft in class that took about a week. He cut, pasted, stapled and wrote very diligently to perfect this flower basket. Inside the basket was a rolled up note that was hand written, "Happy May Day. Love _________".
He was told by Mrs. B to tiptoe to a neighbors door, hang the basket, and RUN LIKE THE WIND and hide so that they wouldn't see who the flowers were from.

He was a little nervous as he approached the door...he lingered, looking confused as to where to hang the basket. Finally, after about 30 seconds (and I'm sure our sweet elderly neighbors were enjoying watching as well) he dropped the basket, knocked, and ran!!
Our neighbor opened the door right as he was running and Parker stopped dead in his tracks and explained what he was doing.

He walked back a bit discouraged that he was "found"...but I assured him that it was more about the thought about it than the mystery of the "sender".

We got a call later that evening from our neighbor Janelle and they were touched by his craft and thoughtfulness.
